OUR YEAR OF THE UNBELIEVABLE,
UNDENIABLE, UNSTOPPABLE FAVOR OF GOD:

"We Win Again" 

NOW is the season for a mighty move of God! I encourage you to write the vision and make it plain. And you must prepare to receive all that God has for you. Don’t delay in your preparedness. God has great things planned for you but if you are not watching expectantly you will miss it. You must know what you are expecting to receive from the Lord. Over the past few months, I have been teaching and preaching on how to make sure you are blessed in the new year - through fasting and prayer. If you have been in attendance, then you have received instructions on preparing for all that God has for you and your family. God is concerned about you and your family. He has a plan for you to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). His plan involves not only you but also your family. Therefore, He has given us instructions regarding blessing the family and children for the future and now. I encourage you to study the book of Deuteronomy with us for it provides instructions for prosperous living by obeying God’s Word.

· Pray daily;

· See God’s mind by staying in prayer and listening to His voice;

· Husbands, love your wives;

· Wives, submit to your own husbands;

· Parents, bless your children—train them in the way they should go—to be kings and queens;

· Enjoy your children;

· Teach your children to have faith in God

· Create a faith picture for your family—be prophetic—speak over them what they are to become;

· Teach them the law of sowing and reaping;

· Teach your family to respect authority and instructions;

· Make them aware that angels are watching over them and the blood of Jesus covers them.

By obeying the Word, we will see what God has planned right now. As we have embarked upon a new year together, let us work the vision that God has given. Let’s pull our forces together and get the work of the Lord done so He is well pleased. We can do it. We have been given a mandate by the Lord to reach the masses. Therefore, we have to be ready for them. We will also have to stretch. This will require us to do some things we haven’t done before and to make better use of what we have been given. On the front cover, you see the drawing of the second phase of the God-given vision for the Radford COGIC. We will begin building this year. We value your role in the future which we are creating together.

May the Promises of God unfold in your life and in your family in 2009.
